Challenge
Woolworths group wanted to better understand consumer behaviour and shopping habits. In particular what deals customers would have more of an affinity toward.
Idea
A digital product that allows users to navigate through personalised deals based on their shopping preferences. Users are able to simply swipe up to dismiss an offer, or swipe down to save it to their list. The platform allows for third party vendors to surface offers, ensuring Woolworths utilise the rich data to better deliver content to the right user. The product also utilises gamification and community based strategies to ensure the user has a hook and need to continually revisit the app.
Design
WooliesX challenged the team to create a simple, clean and engaging design language that was brand agnostic, and could stand on it’s own against other offerings in the market. The prototype was designed to ensure that the content the users were seeing stood out ion their own, whilst using modern typography and a colour palette that would hold the users interest whilst engaging with the experience.
